CCI France Russie IT Committee meeting will be held on June 16, 2022. The event will take place at the office of the Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The topic of the meeting is “IT companies’ operation in new conditions”

ALTHAUS Legal Director Ksenia Melkova and Associate Nikolay Podmetkin will take part in the discussion. As part of their presentation, they will highlight the following issues:

• Discussion of Draft Law No. 92282-8: prohibition of unilateral modification or termination of agreements related to the exercise and protection of rights to the results of intellectual activity and means of individualization.
• Discussion of Draft Law No. 127049-8: additional exemption from liability for the use of the results of intellectual activity expressed in goods imported as part of parallel imports.
• Analysis of the conditions of standard or open licenses for foreign software in terms of termination possibilities.
• Analysis of possible applicable exceptions provided for by US and EU sanctions measures for IT services and products.
